My professional journey began with military service in the German Navy, where I developed a strong foundation of leadership, precision, and adaptability—skills that have profoundly influenced my career.  

Over the past 25 years, I’ve honed my expertise in implementing IT solutions, managing complex projects, orchestrating datacenter migrations, and mentoring IT professionals. I’ve also specialized in crafting comprehensive Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity documentation, ensuring organizations remain resilient in the face of uncertainty. These experiences have afforded me a deep and practical understanding of how to align technical solutions with business needs to drive digital innovation and operational excellence.  

My core technical competencies span a range of critical technologies, including diverse flavors of Linux, virtualization on x86 and RISC platforms, and middleware solutions like IBM OnDemand, MQ, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Apache.
